Under Water World

The ocean has always felt like a hidden universe to me — calm, mysterious, and full of life that speaks without words. Through my artwork “Under Water World,” I wanted to capture that beauty — the gentle movement of the waves, the shimmering colors of coral, and the graceful dance of sea creatures living in harmony beneath the surface.

Each brushstroke reflects peace and wonder, reminding me that even in silence, the world is alive with color and energy. Painting the underwater world allows me to escape into a realm where nature creates its own magic — pure, free, and endlessly inspiring.

This collection is not only about the sea itself, but also about the feeling of connection — between us and nature, between color and emotion, and between imagination and reality.

May my art remind everyone that beauty exists everywhere, even in the unseen depths — if only we take the time to look beneath the surface.

About the Artist

Thai mixed-media artist Jutamas Lajunnon (Pla) brings joy, intuition, and emotion to her vibrant works inspired by the natural world. A self-described “happy hippy boho,” Pla blends painting, design, and storytelling to reflect freedom, color, and optimism. Her art captures the mood of her surroundings — from the forests of northern Thailand to the oceans of Australia and Phuket — expressing life’s beauty through fluid forms and radiant hues.

At 6:30 PM, the artist talk will introduce Jutamas Lajunnon’s (Pla) Under Water World collection, which is on display in the hotel lobby.
