This August, Sole Mio Boutique Hotel & Wellness invites you to Wonder of the Wave, the latest edition of Sole & Soul Sunset Journeys—a signature rooftop experience where art, wellness and meaningful connections come together against the stunning backdrop of the Andaman Sea.

Inspired by Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic masterpiece The Great Wave off Kanagawa, this edition celebrates the ocean as a timeless source of creativity. Guests are invited to reinterpret one of history’s most celebrated seascapes through a guided Sip & Paint Workshop while enjoying an inspiring evening of art, conversation, signature cocktails and breathtaking sunset views over Bangtao Beach.

Sunset Muse & Art Experiences – Aree Kongpon

This August features the “Wonder of the Wave Exhibition“, on display in the hotel lobby throughout August 2026, showcasing the latest collection by contemporary Thai artist Aree Kongpon. Featuring four original artworks, including Dhewina: Breath of the Reef, the exhibition explores the relationship between humanity, the Andaman Sea and the marine world through expressive colours, symbolic forms and contemporary storytelling.

During the event, Aree will host an Artist Talk, sharing the inspiration behind his collection and offering guests a deeper insight into his creative process.
